Move โ— Touch โ— Learn

Hamba Bamba Funda is a pioneering non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming early childhood development in South Africa’s underserved communities. Through our innovative Movement, Touch, and Play methodology, we create nurturing environments where children aged 0โ€“2 years can thrive, learn, and develop the foundational skills needed for lifelong success.

Hamba Bamba Funda was born out of a deep commitment to the well-being of children in South Africa’s most vulnerable communities. Founded by Monja Boonzaier, HBF believes that change starts in the first 1000 days of life. Through community-based, neurodevelopmental approaches, we empower caregivers to guide their babies through essential physical and emotional milestones.
