Hamba Bamba Funda is a pioneering non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming early childhood development in South Africa’s underserved communities. Through our innovative Movement, Touch, and Play methodology, we create nurturing environments where children aged 0–2 years can thrive, learn, and develop the foundational skills needed for lifelong success.

Hamba Bamba Funda was born out of a deep commitment to the well-being of children in South Africa’s most vulnerable communities. Founded by Monja Boonzaier, HBF believes that change starts in the first 1000 days of life. Through community-based, neurodevelopmental approaches, we empower caregivers to guide their babies through essential physical and emotional milestones.
